DMV Firm DaiTechCorp Selected to Furnish Volvo Drivers with EV Charging Stations

Washington, DC - Tech leader Qmerit and automotive giant Volvo Cars have recently announced their selection of DMV-based Dai Tech Corporation to provide home charger installations for Volvo Cars’ new electric vehicle owners in the DC metropolitan area. Their selection was announced as part of an effort to establish a nationwide network of qualified charging station installers to support the rollout of electric vehicles (EV).

"For the sake of our planet, electric vehicles must be the wave of the immediate future," said Sheryl Ellison Ponds, Founder & CEO of Dai Technologies Corporation. "This announcement confirms that Qmerit and Volvo share my commitment to ending range anxiety and promoting electric vehicle adoption. Consumers will not embrace the alternative to gasoline-powered cars until they believe their access to electric vehicle charging stations is convenient and secure."

In addition to Volvo, Qmerit has partnered with a number of charging station suppliers and EV manufacturers to create and coordinate a nationwide system of charging station installers. They are committed to selecting qualified local enterprises in each community in order to ensure consistency, availability, and reliability throughout the country.

About Dai Technologies Corporation
Founded in 2018 as a woman and minority-owned company, Dai Technologies Corporation provides tailor-made turnkey solutions for EV charging applications for home and commercial settings. Based in the Washington DC Metro area, our aim is to end Range Anxiety and promote electric vehicle adoption.

As an early mover in east coast marketing, sales, and installation of EV charging stations, DaiTechCorp is in a position to ease the transition into a cleaner and more sustainable form of transportation. Range Anxiety, or the fear of being stuck away from home without access to a charging station, is a critical barrier to the wide-scale adoption of EV. In addition to charging station installations, we also take seriously our work to help residents, business owners, and city planners to embrace EV friendly environments.
